Wishes for the newlyweds
Making wishes is a must for a traditional Polish wedding. And very good, because it is an opportunity to greet each guest and exchange a few words, which is difficult later during the adoption.
Submission for the Bride and Groom usually takes place upon arrival at the place of reception and after the official toast. We strongly advise you not to make wishes at the church – it is then that you have an unnecessary crowd, and it is not uncommon to have another wedding right after your wedding, and meetings with another Bride are definitely worth avoiding.
What to do to make the time of making wishes at the wedding sympathetic?
The long queue to the Bride and Groom is a standard view of almost every wedding. What to do to avoid this? If the weather allows a good idea is to organize wishes in the garden before even guests enter the room. We must then remember to choose a good place, preferably in the shade, if there is a burning sun, and also to organize drinks and appetizers. Snacks in the form of finger food are great here. They can be given out by waiters or displayed on cocktail tables. Snacks that do not need cutlery are perfect for such a mini garden party. You can also not forget about beverages – prosecco, beer, as well as water and lemonade will work.
This garden party can be extended slightly if we provide nice music – maybe the band that will be playing at the party will agree to play a few numbers outdoors or a DJ will put one speaker outside and release nice music.
This form of wishes is pleasant for both the Bride and Groom and for all guests, not only those who currently wish. You do not have to queue up, you can enjoy a glass of proseccoo and a light snack for a wedding dinner. It is a very pleasant diversion of a traditional wedding at a relatively low cost.
