Church decoration for a wedding
The decoration of the room is one thing, besides this aspect is always born faster, most brides have some ideas about it. But church decoration? In the case of a traditional church with a heavy, brick interior and wooden benches, we usually propose a white carpet. Contrary to appearances, it is he who is the main element of the church decoration. White flowers (gipsówka, peony, hortensja or lapwing) are definitely suitable for white carpet, as well as white candles in lanterns along the nave. If the church is large, we can make two big bouquets on the pedestals at the entrance. We are strong supporters of white in the Church – it refreshes the relieves, adds elegance and emphasizes the unique character of this day. We can gently break it with greenery.
If, however, the church is wooden or very neutral, we can be tempted by light color accents, such as powder pink, delicate blue or ecru. Everything in subdued shades. Here we can afford to smuggle the guiding color of the wedding. In the wooden church, green is also great – free branches and wooden lanterns with candles give a unique charm.
It is definitely worth investing in candles, warming up the cold church walls and giving a romantic atmosphere. It is very important that there are enough candles, because too modest decoration will not give the desired effect. Similarly with rose petals – if you care about pouring them along the aisle, take care of their right amount. It is definitely not worth saving on this, and the effect will certainly be amazing!
An important element of the Church’s decoration is also chairs – Young Couple and witnesses. Be sure to check beforehand what the Church has and whether the chair and the kneeler match your vision of decoration. Here we also put on white – we can try to borrow elegant chairs or put on covers. Here, however, you need to make sure that their size matches the church chairs – there is nothing worse than too big chair covers! :).
